(Reuters) - Shares of the company rose almost 22 percent in pre-market electronic trade to $23 from their Wednesday close of $18.89 on the Nasdaq.
"Hansen Medical is very pleased with the FDA's clearance for the Sensei system, particularly since we previously projected that this clearance would be granted in the second half of 2007," Chief Executive Frederic Moll said in a statement.
