Canadian consumer confidence slips in April

(Reuters) - The report showed consumer confidence falling from Ontario eastward but remaining strong in the oil-rich western provinces.

Continuing a trend that began in February, the number of respondents who felt their family's financial conditions would improve six months from now fell by 0.8 points to 28.2 percent in April from March.
