(Reuters) - The African Development Bank (AfDB) has approved a loan to Uganda worth $110 million to finance the construction of a power station and transmission lines, the bank said.
The project involves building and operating the 250-megawatt electricity plant and linking it to the national grid with transmission lines and sub-stations, the Tunis-based bank said in a statement late on Wednesday.
