(Bloomberg) -- U.S. stock-index futures advanced after Deere & Co. reported profit that beat analysts' estimates and billionaire investor Edward Lampert said he bought an $800 million stake in Citigroup Inc.
Shares of Microsoft Corp. gained after George Soros boosted his holdings in the world's largest software maker.
