(Reuters) - The dollar hit a three-month high against the yen on Wednesday before Japanese data expected to support the view that Japan's central bank will keep its interest rates among the lowest in the industrialized world.
The dollar advanced broadly, a day after hitting a one-week low against the euro, supported by reports showing higher-than-expected growth in U.S. housing starts and industrial output.
