(Reuters) - South Africa's rand was steady on Wednesday after largely ignoring warnings from the Reserve Bank about continuing inflation pressures, and traders expected the currency to track major markets developments.
The rand was at 6.9125 versus the dollar at 0630 GMT, near its New York close of 6.9195 on Tuesday.
