Colombia Benchmark Bond Strengthens on Expectations Peso to Extend Rally

(Bloomberg) -- Colombia's benchmark peso bond gained on expectations strength in the peso will make assets denominated in the local currency more attractive.

The currency has appreciated 12.7 percent against the dollar this year, the second-most among 70 currencies tracked by Bloomberg, trailing only the Icelandic krona.
