(Bloomberg) -- France's four leading presidential candidates converged on the nation's south for their final rallies before Sunday's first-round voting, all appealing for a break with the status quo and a restoration of ``French values.''
``I've never seen such a feeling of exasperation'' among voters, Nicolas Sarkozy, the governing-party nominee and leader in opinion polls, said in the port city of Marseille last night. Segolene Royal, running second, appeared in Toulouse with Spanish Prime Minister Jose Luis Rodriguez Zapatero, a fellow Socialist. The top two finishers will meet in a May 6 runoff.
