(Reuters) - A long-term lease of the 514-mile Pennsylvania Turnpike
could raise as much as $18 billion for transportation funding,
which has unmet needs of $1.7 billion a year, said the report
from Morgan Stanley, which is advising the state on how to fill
the spending gap.
Pennsylvania Gov. Ed Rendell backed the lease plan, saying
it was the best option before the state.
