Japan's Nikkei 225 Stock Average, Topix Fall; Toyota and Canon Lead Drop

(Bloomberg) -- Japan's Nikkei 225 Stock Average
fell 171.71, or 1 percent, to 17,112.10 at 9:02 a.m. in Tokyo.
The broader Topix index dropped 16.48, or 1 percent, to
1,683.23.

Toyota Motor Corp. and Canon Inc. led the declines.

Toyota Aims to Increase China Vehicle Sales by 50 Percent on Camry Demand

(Bloomberg) -- Toyota Motor Corp., the world's
biggest carmaker by market value, expects to sell about 50
percent more vehicles in China in 2007 than a year earlier,
helped by surging demand for its Camry sedans.

The automaker aims to sell more than 450,000 vehicles in
China this year, it said in a statement today. Sales next year
may climb to at least 550,000, Etsuo Hattori, Toyota's chief
China representative, added in an interview at a car show in the
northeastern city of Changchun.

Asian Stocks Fall From a Record, Led by Toyota and CSL, on Dollar Weakness

(Bloomberg) -- Asian stocks declined, dragging a
regional benchmark from a record, on speculation exporters'
overseas earnings will be eroded as the yen strengthened and the
Australian dollar traded near an 18-year high.

Toyota Motor Corp., the world's largest automaker by market
value, and CSL Ltd., the No. 2 maker of blood products which made
almost half of its 2006 sales in the Americas, led the drop.

Japan's Nikkei 225 Stock Average, Topix Rise; Toyota, Komatsu Lead Gain

(Bloomberg) -- Japan's Nikkei 225 Stock Average
rose 52.70, or 0.3 percent, to 18,199.00 at 9:02 a.m. in Tokyo.
The broader Topix index added 3.87, or 0.2 percent, to
1784.23.

Toyota Motor Corp. and Komatsu Ltd. led the advances.

Japanese Stocks Rise, Led by Toyota; Topix Gains the Most in Eight Weeks

(Bloomberg) -- Japanese stocks climbed, sending the
Topix index to its best performance in almost eight weeks.
Exporters led the advance after the Federal Reserve said the
housing slowdown won't keep the U.S. economy from expanding and
the yen weakened.

Toyota Motor Corp. advanced to a three-month high, while
Sony Corp. gained for the first time in five days.

Japanese Stocks May Fall, Paced by Toyota, Exporters, on U.S. Bond Yields

(Bloomberg) -- Japanese stocks may decline, led by
exporters including Toyota Motor Corp., after higher U.S. bond
yields renewed concern that spending in the world's largest
economy will slow.

The Standard & Poor's 500 Index had the biggest slide in
two weeks yesterday on concern a slump in the housing market
will intensify.

Asian Stocks Snap Five-Day Rally; Toyota and Samsung Electronics Decline

(Bloomberg) -- Asian stocks fell for the first time in
six days after a higher-than-forecast increase in U.S. labor costs
fueled concern inflation will accelerate, prompting an increase in
interest rates.

The Morgan Stanley Capital International Asia-Pacific Index
retreated from a record high, following declines in the U.S. and
Europe. Toyota Motor Corp., which made more than one third of its
sales in North America last year, and Samsung Electronics Co.,
Asia's largest maker of chips, flat screens and mobile phones, led
declines.

Japan Stocks Gain on Stronger-Than-Expected U.S. Growth; Kobe Steel Surges

(Bloomberg) -- Japanese shares advanced after
reports showed employment and manufacturing growth in the U.S.,
Japan's largest overseas market, expanded more than expected.

Toyota Motor Corp., the world's No. 1 carmaker by market
value, added 1.2 percent. Kobe Steel Ltd. jumped 6.1 percent
after the Nikkei newspaper reported the company is expanding
output of aluminum auto parts as demand increases.

Asian Equities Rise to Third Straight Record on U.S. Growth; Toyota Gains

(Bloomberg) -- Asian stocks rose to a third straight
record after reports showed employment and manufacturing growth in
the U.S. expanded more than expected and metals prices gained.

Toyota Motor Corp., which overtook General Motors Corp. as
the world's biggest automaker by market value, climbed to a 10-
week high on speculation demand in the region's largest export
market will be sustained. BHP Billiton Ltd., the No. 1 mining
company, climbed for a third day.

Yen May Weaken in June as Workers Invest Bonuses Overseas, JPMorgan Says

(Bloomberg) -- The yen may fall as Japanese employees
invest their June bonuses overseas, said Tohru Sasaki, chief
currency strategist at JPMorgan Chase & Co. in Tokyo.

Japanese companies including Toyota Motor Corp., the world's
largest automaker, will probably pay about 13 trillion yen
($106.9 billion) of bonuses to their workers next month, Sasaki
estimated. The yen is the worst performer this quarter among 71
of the world's currencies, dropping 3.1 percent.
