UPDATE 1-Buyout group bids for remaining Endemol shares

(Reuters) - The group has already bought 75 percent of Endemol from
Spain's telecoms group Telefonica , a deal that closed
on Tuesday.




The acceptance period for the widely-expected bid for the
remaining shares begins on July 5 and ends on August 3, the
buyout group, called Edam Acquisition, said in a statement.

Endemol's new owners to invest, shop: report

(Reuters) - Mediaset, owned by opposition leader Silvio Berlusconi, and De Mol are buying 75 percent of Endemol from Spain's Telefonica and are also in the market for the remaining 25 percent.




De Mol said he saw synergies for Endemol with Internet companies and search engines.

Telefonica's Airwave sale fuels Telecom Italia talk

MADRID, April 19 - Acquisitive Spanish carrier Telefonica raised almost 3 billion euros on Thursday, days before a deadline expires for an arch-rival to buy into long-courted neighbour Telecom Italia .
