(Bloomberg) -- A measure of expected stock market
swings rose the highest in almost three months as U.S. stocks
fell for a third day.
The Chicago Board Options Exchange SPX Volatility Index, or
VIX, rose 12 percent to 16.72, the biggest jump since April, as
of 2:58 p.m. in New York.
