(Bloomberg) -- Treasuries were little changed as U.S.
stock indexes rose, reversing earlier declines.
The benchmark 10-year note pared earlier gains as investors
sought the relative safety of government debt. A slump in Asian
and European stocks was triggered when China tripled a tax on
securities transactions to help slow investment.
